Retro-fitting B7 RS4 engine

hi all
has anyone out there fitted a rs4 engine in anything other than an Audi !??

physically, it no probs but to get it running properly with all those wires ....?

thanks for any help before i get to the point of no return ! :bash:

A friend of mine is currently putting one into his Ultima, I will point him in your direction.

Why the B7 engine? If it was me I would be looking at a 1.8T, 2.7 biturbo, or 4.2 biturbo (These have all be transplanted before).

think a chap called DamoM was putting one into a ur quattro

i know its an Audi BUT an old one at that!!

Sure I've heard of someone putting a B7 engine into an Esprit - try a quick google as I think there was a link to a Lotus forum.

Wasn't the B7 V8 but the earlier A8 V8 with 6 speed FWD box.

from guessing your application. i would recomend a good 3 cilinder perkins

my engine builder converted a B7 V8 to throttle bodies for a kit car, not sure what car though, will ask him next time I see him
