S8 con rod info needed!

Does anyone know what sort of power standard S8 (32v AHC code) con rods can handle??

I'll be pulling my 98 S4 motor in the next few months to fit turbos & heads etc, and I'm looking at fiting uprated rods (aiming for just under 500 bhp), but in my garage I have a 1998 S8 AHC motor from a previous project which has 7 good rods and 1 bent rod, and after doing some research I have found out that they are similar measurements to V6 S4 rods. As far as I can remember this was a fairly high revving motor with solid lifters etc and it produced around 340 bhp... would these rods be useful as an S4 upgrade?
