Tips for changing N75
Tips for changing N75
Going to replace mine tomorrow, had a quick look and its looks like one of those jobs that can be tricky first attempt. Any tips? Best way to remove the fixing clips, etc?

I ordered new clips, as you can't really re-use them
If you can delay it, then I would order some new clips, and then tackle the job. If you got new clips, then just cut them with some side cutters, or if you do plan on using them, then, prise a small flat blade screwdriver in the small lug (the one which gets crimped), and prise away. And then you'll need to remove the clip off the tab. TBH very hard to re-use them, and you'll get pis5ed off trying to put them bak together!
Apart from that it's pretty self explantory, apart from the bottom hose or one of them being a bit tricky/tight. Nothing major.

I like to keep mine looking as it was from factory, hence the proper OEM clips

Easy job, when I first looked at changing mine I thought "looks tricky" but it just pulls out of the mounting bracket and then you can get at all the clips.

did it monday, took about 20-30mins. The boost comes in with a real snap now, reading through some of the posts on here i guess this is spiking? and the ECU will adapt?
