Road legal track tyres, wish one??????

Would like to get some road legal track tyres to put on my RS4 b5, anybody did use them before ? if yes wish one was it.

where is the best place to get them, did look at camskill but not much choice there... :?

Wonder how is the difference compare with road tyres !! :lol:

Generally, they're lethal in the wet and they wear out much quicker than standard road tyres. You may also need to upgrade some of your suspension components as they will take more of a beating due to the higher grip, hence higher forces involved.

I run Hankook RS2s, they are superb wet or dry, they out perform my Conti sport 3s by a mile, the wet grip is outstanding. Bought from Camskill.

I can honestly say they are the best tyres I have ever run, they get good write-ups as a track tyre that has the benefit of good wet performance.

Dunlop D01J (Try a forum search) worked a treat for me on the B5.

Take a look at the Toyo 888's. I haven't used them myself, but several of my friends have, and all I've heard is good about them.

Toyo 888 are a good track tyre, don’t get caught out in the rain.

They are a very noisy tyre for every day road use. Sounds like you have a few wheel bearings gone with the road hum.

They are rather good in the dry, almost need a dry sump kit on some cars.
