"Unit 20" woke me up at 8 am with a flat bed recovery truck, as arranged.
Unfortunately my over powered rs4 needed another gear box
"surprise surprise" !
Work began with a flat battery , broken gear box and ceased brakes all round.
Martin made hassle free quick work of the situation, took off all the bbs's and freed the 6 callipers all round, Movit / brembo. ££:roll: .
Off went my car to Cilla Black country, only joking, the Posh part The Wirral. (Correct Me If I'm wrong) nice area though.
Through leafy country lanes we traveled to visit "Unit 20" . The newest Audi Tuning shop on the block.
My car was pulled to bits, and that nasty barstewered power steering leak to beat all leaks was cured after the box was removed. This leaky line is near imposable to fix with the box insitu, so hay was made.
"Unit 20" worked from 6:30 am through to 8pm on my car overcoming significant issues as they arose. The whole job was done in the day and at exactly the price agreed irrespective of hiccups.
I would really like to say thank you to you Martin ,publicly and today, even though I am knackered, as I'm sure you are. You really are a good mechanic and you deserve this praise.
I have recommended you many times before and wish you every success with the new "Unit 20"
I must add that I have also had fantastic outstanding help and service from other shops and members throughout my Rs246 participation. I really feel that the members / companies who have set up their business around the clear demands and needs of the site and its users have been fantastically helpful to me.
Rs246 has really created an open forum for traders and customer.
