Help !! Recaro Pole position fitting on RS4 B5....

Hello guys, i did received my pole position seats last week but with the wrong rails Same story.....Anyway i will get the right parts very soon. Is anyone on this forum who have the same seats fitted on his car would be king enough to take some pictures ( rail fitting area under the seat) so i can have a good idea how and where the parts go.

The supplier told me i have to do some modification on my car because the fitting is not straight forward.....wish i think is a load of rubbish

why? if you bought rs4 specific subframes,rails etc then they should go straight in surely? got mine coming from capital seating next week,i've been waiting 7 weeks for mine

you do need to remove the front to back adjuster handle from hte original seats. In the top picture you can see hte nadle nad metal bar it is connected to - you can jsut see the silver bracket that holds that onto the frame - 2 screw hold that on - then the spring ath te back of the handle needs swapped over. That is all you need to "modify"

I have taken the white recaro writing off my seats - some paint thinners quickly over it - then a soapy cloth straight after and it comes off with one wipe.

lead times are horrendous on these seats - i had to wait 9 weeks for the last batch - that is recaro.

I have a A4/S4/RS4 B5 Recaro (Not OEM but aftermarket) seat rail in the garage if anyone needs to fit a Recaro to a B5.

Vous n'avez besoin d'enlever l'avant à l'arrière de la poignée de réglage de l'original sièges. En haut image, vous pouvez voir la barre de métal poignée et il est relié à - vous pouvez juste voir le support que l'argent qu'il détient sur l'ossature - 2 vis qui le détiennent - alors le printemps, à l'arrière de la poignée échangé plus de besoins. C'est tout ce que vous avez besoin de "modifier"

J'ai pris le blanc recaro écrit mes sièges - certains solvants de peinture rapidement sur elle - puis un chiffon savonneuse tout de suite après et il se décolle avec une lingette

Thank you so much Doug , wanted to ask you about that but i do know you are very busy in your workshop. Top man you are.

Yeah i had to wait 2 months before to get my seats.....and at capital seats they seems not to know their products at all.....Been told i will have the right rails on the 8 th next month. The seats look really nice and i can't wait to fit them.
