I am thinking of going to ceramic brakes on the C5 RS6 . I'm wondering how much lighter the ceramic brakes are compared to OEM?

Is there a "kit" or list of parts that will fit?

CheeRS!

If I went ceramic brakes with BBS lightweight wheels and given that the RS is a (nearly) two tonne tessy what difference would it realistically make? Unsprung mass and all that jazz, but other than fadeless brakes.

Ceramic brakes are reputed to need to lots of heat before they work effectively, perhaps they're not ideal for road use . . ?

The listed MTM upgrades don't include ceramics though. :-(

Try MOv-It brakes, they also list a ceramic upgrade.
