506.9 BHP @ 6.020 RPM
445.0 WHP @ 5.981 RPM
481.5 IBFT @ 4.976 RPM

S4 ko3s stock exhaust = 77 dB
S4 ko3 turbos stock DPs and 3" miltek catback = 77.5dB (does sound deeper though)
s4 ko4 turbos, stock s4 DPs no precats, 3" single milltek catback = 78.5db
s4 200 cell miltek DPs + 3" milltek catback = 80.8dB
Renault Scenic - the Ash express = 81.3dB
S4 nocats full custom(smallish bore) k04 = 82.1dB (Dr_Wimpkins)
S4 Nocat Milltek DPs, 3" catback s4 ko3 = 82.2dB (Chris_M)
S4 ko4s, nocat milltek downpipes, s4 dual catback, non resonated = 87.5dB (SATAN)
RS4 no cat milltek downpipes, milltek resonated catback 91dB (Ash)
RS4 no cats RS full exhaust(2 boxes) K16s = 94.4dB
ads4 95db at Castle Combe - Milltek 100cpsi with dual resonated link pipes.
RS4 full Milltek 100cpsi = 95db (Dace)
Dougs Mota! 101.5 dB (but Castle Combe said 99 and 100 dB)

Interesting to see Adams car came out loader than Julian's! It shouldn't have, unless Adams was tested at higher revs...

How can a catted Milltek (Dace) be louder then a non-cat on Ash's or the RS Fab exhaust ???

Be interesting to see what mine does tomorrow

dace is done at higher revs - should be a not on that - i don't thing adams is as loud as 95 dB - maybe we should have my measurment nad other measurements

I think for the list to work. All the cars need to be tested @ MRC or at least with Doug's noise meter.

and at the same rpm?
S4 - no longer missing 1 engine. Last seen leaving trailing black lines of gearbox oil.

i am doing all my tests at 4500rpm(which CC use) - daces results were from a trackday test and they used 5k?(Ithink)

Bring the noise meter to the rolling road day, should be plenty to do there... and RS246 Live!

My car is just weird. Runs crazy boost and very high torque (28psi and ~500lbf.ft) on Milltek no-cat d/p's, non-res link pipes and Dual catback, yet is quiter than Adams with cats and res link pipes .... go figure. :D

Hopefully I was given duff info at Castle Combe and the db level is lower - seeing as the 'ring are supposedly clamping down on cars over 95db then that'll be a good thing :thumbs:

DavidT's was 94db at Castle Combe, same set up as mine I think.

No - tapers down to about 21/22psi from what I've seen (only managed a few very quick glances: need to be looking out the windscreen at redline - distances shrink very quickly at that speed!)
