rs4 B7 engine aftermarket installation ?!

hi all
anybody out there tried to fit one of these engines to another type of car other than another rs4 ?
ive bought a complete accident damaged car for a project and wonder what problems anyone had trying to get the engine fired up and who out there can fix them ?!!
