Anyone had problems with scoring on their RS6 discs?

I've got the RS6+ front brake set up on the S4.

Noticed the other day that there appears to be some scoring (about 1mm deep) on one of the discs above and below where the pads touch, however the pad I can see doesn't look too bad (is this bit circled red the pad or just part of the caliper? Hard to tell from the photo).

Has anyone else had this? Is it anything to worry about or is it fairly normal?

Is that the pad that i've circled in red? Looks like there's still plenty on that if there is, so wouldn't expect to see so much scoring, especially after only a few hundred mostly motorway miles.

you probably got a stone caught in the pad.

This patten is caused by the heat stress. it is normal for discs which have reached temps above the norm. The patten is caused by the surface gong into a slightly More fluid state at high temp and then the metal shifts into this patten separating to very high temp points.

Sorry: edited to say i totally misread your question and was explaining the vinyl look.
