Clutch

My RS4 has been fitted with a standard clutch to replace the MTM clutch that was put on during the major work the car had, this was done as the previous owner thought the clutch too much on a road car (I think the MTM one is a Sachs ?). The standard clutch is fine although the single mass flywheel feels slightly odd when cold compared with a standard dual mass one.

I believe that the car has been tuned to ensure that it doesn't produce too much torque in the mid-range and wreck the clutch. Not being one to let free power go untested.....is there a clutch I can fit that will cope with 600 ish BHP (and associated torque) that does not make any more noise than standard, isn't violent (like Doug's !) and my wife could drive...basically something that feels and drives like the standard clutch or close to it?

Jeff, like you say it's the torque not the power. Have you looked at Clutchmasters? they seem to be highly
regarded on AW.

Feels normal to drive ? Doug has an uprated clutch which feels really jerky from the passenger seat (if you see what I mean).
