Was wondering if any of us have changed the gearing in the boxes?
My thinking is on a track/event usually we dont need the 180 MPH top end ... so why not take 6th down to 150mph and drop the gearing in the rest of the gears ...
This is assuming we can grab the gears out of other boxes, might take a bit of work to sort out, but could give a bit more acceleration when big top end speed is not needed ...

Would look into this if the car only had a 5 speed box, But because of the 6 speed. Can't see the point.
