Plastic Welding - anyone local?

Post by GardinerG » Tue Oct 23, 2007 7:55 pm

Does anyone know anyone local to me (Farnham, Surrey/Hants ish) that can do good plastic welding?

Some :knob: took my airbox off without looking what they were doing - and broke one of the posts - then stuck it back on with silicon type sealant to hide the fact.

Anyway, I've still got the post but I resent paying £250(!!!) for a bit of black plastic!

LOL!

Wurth (I don't know if you've heard of them) do some epoxy putty repair sticks. This might be of use to you

Or alternatively go DIY, and use some Araldite, and rub down the excess when dry, and if need be spray it matt black
