has anyone had the arches rolled on their S4? I think I need this doing before I can lower my car as the wheels stick out a little bit.

is there anywhere that can be recommended?

Guy called Greg who's at MRC a lot...call/email Doug for contact details...he has a body shop and his work is outstanding. He did mine. QST also do arches i believe, although maybe only if you buy Bimotos from them!

how do they do it exactly? and how much do they roll them? could you see it if it was next to a standard car?

Not too much difference i.e you won't end up with bulging arches!! It's an arm that's bolted to the hub with what looks like a skateboard wheel attached to the end...the arch is heated up and the wheel is rolled against the arch from the inside and pushes the arch outwards. The arch liner also heats up and stretches with the wing so that it still seals it...although it does get quite thin as it stretches and if you drop the car too low on your coilovers it'll rub and split

thats a shame about the bulging arches, id have quite liked RS4 style!

I did it myself using the AW write up as a guide, surprisingly easy to do, only the fronts obviously as the rears are thin enough.

I used a wooden section of thick curtain pole! No heating as it was 43 degs outside on the day so the metal must have been even hotter.

The only tip I would add is there is a bolt holding the liner on about two thirds of the way round the arch if you look, before you start you must pull the liner down and cut the lump of plastic off where the bolt is, and cut off the metal tab it screws into, then the arch is the same all the way round and can be rolled easily. Keep the liner tucked in the lip of the arch as you go.

Took me about half an hour once I got the hang of it. looks perfect, no rubbing now
