its on the outside as well as the inside..id say it was made by air bubbles in the casting process so dnt worry..
when the castings were machined that would ave knocked the tops of the air bubbles off and left holes behind..

Thanks woody, my mate commented on that as well, and I went PHEW!!! I was about to take a long walk off a short pier of these turbo's had given up on me!!!!
