Hi all,

I know I have been considering a brake upgrade but....

Audi dealerships are selling S4 front disks for £40 ea. HOWEVER the disk model is being superseded (not that they could tell me the difference) by a £72 disk!!!!

That is a fair price hike!! anyway many dealers still have the old model disks on the shelf so if you want a pair for £80+VAT I'd get down to your local dealer.

Funny you say that as I bought some last week from my dealer and they came packaged in a box ready for shipment back to audi. I wondered why at the time

Very interesting!

I just called my local dealer (Whites Camberley) and they told me the price was currently £72.54 + VAT for each disk, but that the the price was previously £40 and this must have been a mistake as they cost more than £40 for them to buy in!

Where did you guys get yours from?

I will give them a call and see if they have any left at £40!

Thanks,

Unfortunately after trying 5 or 6 dealer it looks like everybody including Dane Audi have run out of the old disks.

Even Paul can only save me about £10 a disk.

So I think you were very lucky there Joules.

Would be nice if the "new" ones were better , but I expect they just made the number change to "correct" the price!
