Dilemma

Some of you may know that I have been spending quite some time developing a brake upgrade solution for the RS4, which in future will hopefully also lead to kits for other models.

I have a dilemma: AmD or Revo.
Both companies have shown interest in aquiring the systems, but I can't decide who to 'give' it to.

I did this for the people, so I think it is up to the people. Who do you think should be awarded this opportunity?

Personally if i had a new product i choose a relatively new company to help me sell it.

No offence to AMD, but in my experience they have been useless for anything i've ever asked them for.

Nobody ever got back to me etc.

AMD cant seem to handle reactive business let alone pro-active business.

(please note this is only from my experience which is about 15 phone calls and a few emails )

Here is an artist's (Ahemm) impression of what they could look like...

Note: Replace RS4 logo with whatever.

Mmm

I know what Dean means but on the other hand are Revo not trying to get more into chipping whereas AmD are trying to offer a more "full" package

Really difficult

I obviously have an alliance with Scott at AmD as they have doen all my work

I abstain from voting

Agree with Bushy to some extent. AMD offer full service mechanical (which fitting brakes would be). Is Revo getting into mechanical work more now or is it just chipping?

I would see which one offered the best RRP deal to customers as well.

If Revo are then sub letting it to approved installers/dealers they will not have so much money in it

As they need their dealers to be competitive, so they need to match others prices

MMm, even less sure wot to do now

I think i would go AmD, but still think that is a bias answer in some ways

Bushy has a fair point, AMD have lots of experience in this field.

Thanks for the feedback. Seems pretty even, no wonder I couldn't decide.... And still can't. I suppose AmD would be a single source of distribution, and Revo would resell to their dizzies.

So, out of interest, who would be interested in a set?
