audi oil pumps

wondering, i have the v6 biturb a6 engine and as we go up the audi range to v8 engines and v8 biturbo engines do they uses higher volume pumps and would they fit v6 biturbo, i'm thinking it would be a bolt on improvement for above OEM performance. ofcourse standard one could be ported and polished to help but is there a better starting point from the bigger engines?

The RS4 pump is different anyway I thought? higher flow rate? so it would be a possible upgrade.
