I had a Sachs paddle clutch and flywheel fitted a few months back.
The spacer had to be taken out around between the gearbox/engine and bolts cut down in size to fit. All seemed to be fine except when trying to disengage, it would take just a fraction longer than it should to disengage.
Since I have had to remove the engine again we have had a look at the release bearing, its the plastic(!??!?!) one that audi produce and you can see dents in it that the clutch has made ...
Two things ...
1) I think it I got a thicker one it might disengage a little more to fix that problem?
2) Does anyone know of a metal one or something a little more substantial? I don't want to stick another plastic one in again, it seems a weak point especially since its a heavier clutch now...

RE: Help! - Clutch Release Bearing
034 do a metal faced one. I have one but I haven't had it fitted yet. According to AW it should be OK.

Will it fit my RS4 setup? At worst if I can't source one by next week would you consider selling me yours and I will order a replacement from 034 for you????
