fitting full harness belts

I want to be able to fit (on a temporary/easily removable basis) a four point harness belt for track days, not particularly for safety but because it is so much easier to drive well when one is fully located in the seat. I note that in the rear seats, in an ideal location, are the fittings for what I assume are the child seat. Are these stressed for adult belt attachments? are there adaptors available to allow the fitting of seat belt brackets? If not what has anyone done? I saw very recently a picture in a UK car magazine, which has an RS4 avant on long term test, where they had fitted four point harnesses. Does any one remember which magazine it was so I can contact them?

It's of course your choice but the common advice is only fit a full harness if you've got a roll cage. If you're unfortunate enough to roll it then the odds on snapping your neck as the roof collapses are a lot higher.
Have you considered the cheap and effective alternative : a CG Lock ?

Like scotty says, harnesses are not recommended unless you have a full cage as the will hold you upright in the seat and if you roll, the roof is likely to 'move'

Thanks, good point indeed everyone. My track car has a full cage so for me this point had never arisen before.

The schroth quick fit harness is designed for use in cars without cages.
I have them in my CSL.... highly recommended.
