i have a full wizards kit sitting in my hallway, from the last car, i promissed myself it wouldn't go near the audi, hmmm

I agree. It's all about getting it right and not overdoing it! I'll be running a 150hp shot on my RS4. To be very safe I have a nos controller that allows me to adjust the nos progressively to my liking. A controller like this will also enable you to only run the nos in a certain rev band. Further it will be connected to the lambda and a fuel pressure switch to avoid leaning out, which is the state that will fry your engine.

mmm... assuming its a wet system with all the protections in place to prevent it leaning out and things melting, it should be pretty safe. Us boys in the S4's though have to worry about snapping rods over 500lbs/ft... so I guess that all being well with the MRC500 & Brett running as good a power as he is, we are out

if anyone felling they need a kit and progressive, controller, I could be pushed quite easly to part with it for some cash
