Hi
My car is on 63k miles now, is it worth running a bottle of injector cleaner through it?
I have used Optimax + Millers/V Power since 19k miles.
Cheers,
Dave

I would say you are cleaning the injectors a;; the time by running such a mixture.
I have run the odd treatment of red x but I personally think it is not necessary when the quality of fuel is as you are stating.
Any other opinions welcomed.

Ageed Gordon. Good fuel and regular use are more useful than 'witches brews'. Check Angus/AAH thread re ultrasonic injector cleaning on his RS2 here or S2 forum.
He got them professionally cleaned and the comment from the guy was you could tell from the state of the injectors who used supermarket fuel (worse condition) and those who used brand fuels (better)

I use Tesco's 99. Does anyone know if this is "cleaner" than normal supermarket fuel?
