Brake Temp Display

After getting my new calipers/disks put on I thought it would be a nice idea to have some kinda of onboard display/readout showing the current temp of the disks ...

Good way to know when disks are getting too hot, or, when they are cooled down enough after spirited driving ...

Did a little search and found this ...

High Temperature Infrared Temperature Sensor

Anyone done this or know of other options????

Disc paint.
red amber green it will disappear as you surpass the grades.
Cheap and effective but not like a gauge.

AP do a sticker that you apply to the caliper which work well

Nice one, you see those a lot on racing setups.

I'm not sure how you'd measure disc temps ?

Normally you'd use a temp probe which is expensive and can only be done when the car's stationary, but the DBA discs I has on the S4 had coloured bands on to indicate temperature ranges - trouble is they get covered in brake dust and are no longer visible.
