My car seems to loose boost when i accelerate hard, but only in second gear. This happens once in awhile and not always. My question is....why only in second gear? Thanks

several possible problems here, which I am also acceleratiing but not just in second gear

have you checked ECU error codes?

I have found my car is mis firing on cylinder 1

Possible causes are
1 - faulty coil pack
2 - split hose
3 - sticking DV

also a possible cause is that the knock sensor is near to cylinder1, so if the engine mount is worn or flexing too much it may cause the knock sensor to pick up faulty ignition and put the engine in safe mode

It is in at the dealer next week so maybe we can find out
