MTM Manifolds

Just got new mtm manifolds they arrived yesterday. They Truly are Nice

.
I wonder if I should Ceramic Coat them?
And Or
Wrap them in a heat proof material.
Do other people do this?
I also may get the downpipes ceramic coated and / or wrapped in heat proof wrap, is this a good idea?.
I also may get heat proof small blankets to cover the turbos to keep down temps do you guys do this.
Other questions Sorry!
Should I re-use all small parts currently on the car when replacing the manifolds turbos and downpipes (gaskets nuts and bolts etc)?

Ceramic coat them thats my plan aswell...these guys do coatings that may be worth a call..............

superb range. What should I do regarding gaskets round turbos, flanges manifold to turbo and gas outlets to manifolds?

New gaskets every time. Generally if the nuts are locking versions these should be new when replaced as well.

yup, wrap them in thermal wrap (loose-ish, it should shrink when heated initially) hotter exhaust gasses move faster

- plus it should help reduce under bonnet temps & heat soak when stationary.
Ceramic coating would depend on the cost, it can be good but it's not magic beans..
Do you know if they are 'acoustic' equal length? - ie the exhaust pulses all arrive at the flange timed correctly for maximum pull through the exhaust system?

not sure on design, I think they would be too big to fit in the space for this type of system!

well smooth surface would promote faster moving exhaust gas which has to help fow through the engine and exhaust flow, i would if i was spending like you have on the mani's.. im suprised they werent coated standard. looks like a very solid set do you have a pic next to the oe manis, interesting to know what their design requirements were . they certainly should hold heaps of boost though
