porting exhaust manifolds

Post by dummi » Sat Jul 08, 2006 10:38 am

is it possible to port exhaust manifolds on the 2.7t any further, from what i have read they are composed of two material, if so would there be enough remaining material, i'd rather get tubular manifolds but my budget says i should look at this option..

I have done it and there isn't lots more to be had out of them so I've just had a set of tubulars made...

Cheers,

We have developed the manifolds and worked on the design with our local fabrication shop so we sell them. The price is £1700 for a pair of ceramic coated manifolds.

Thanks,

Mihnea
