They are so busy playing with high performance cars that they are not replying to my e-mail sent about a week ago asking for some pricing.

They normally get back to you by e-mail? :-p

I always find that if you want some information the best way is to call someone. Imagine how much spam they must get along with all the dreamers after free advice.

Give them a call.

I think "tuning" would be a better word.

Mihnea has been off work quite ill for a while, but I believe he's back at work this week.

Typical of a new business, they may not have the perfect administration setup yet, but 2 of the best tuners in the country deserve some support from us rather than a slagging off.

Try giving them a call...

Can someone from Crew please move this thread to the correct forum

Moved. I thought about trashing it but every tuner gets slagged off by impatient customers sooner or later so here's the record of the first for MRC.

Thanks Dippy

I agree - I was going to ask that it be trashed, but thought I'd leave it to your discretion. As you say, everyone is entitled to their view and this is a public forum, so where better place to air it...I've said my piece above.

I'd say this is a result of how good they are, too busy working on customers cars. Annoying yes, worth slagging them off, hardly. If you're serious pick up the phone.

Whenever I have visited them, there has been some very humble cars there, couple of Skoda diesels, Volkswagen Golfs and Polos and the occasional S4 in for major surgery. Whilst we all like to think all MRC are busy working on are mega hp S4's the reality is there are a more skoda diesels owners with £500 to spend than S4 owners with £10K to spend.

Demand has out stripped supply. It had to happen. Where else do you get an excellent friendly service? Bl00dy nowhere.

I have only dealt with them once ( but know them both from the S2 forum and used Mihnea's chip in my S2 ) but am more than happy with what i recieved. If it means waiting for a reply then so be it. I only bought a few hoses and their generic remap and even now if I email Mihnea he still has time to reply.

Oh and did I say they were excellent :rocker:

Clive seems to have become addicted to Smiles. Remember Clive, someone offers you Smiles, just say no and walk away....

A quick point worth noting though. I am sure ZeroK66 was not meaning to be nasty

I'm sure you're right Paul - probably just frustration.

One thing is clear though - MRC obviously don't need to spend a penny on sales & marketing...

My post was totally light hearted - I have been very hapy wtih the service etc from MRC - just wanted to see if there was a reason I had not heard from them - like Someone off ill or holiday. I am confident they will get back to me - I was just wondering how long they have been known to take.

I would call, but I needed something in writing I could work with and look at when needed. It was quite complex and would take up too much time on the phone - as I expect them to be busy "tuning" ;-)
