Does anyone know the weight of an RS6 Alloy??

Post by SteveH » Thu Jun 01, 2006 10:36 am

Help! I am packaging my second set of alloys and need to know the weight for the courier (I dont have any scales at home). I am guessing that for a 19" 5 spoke RS6 OEM alloy the weight is roughly 15Kg, does any one have anything more accurate than that???

PS... I know that it sounds stupid, but I measured the 19" alloys on my car to double check that I get cardboard boxes big enough, and for my 19" alloy the actual diameter was nearly 21" :? . Is the official diameter to the inside of the tyre bead then, excluding the lip of the wheel?? I always thought that it was the face of the alloy

The size is definitely measured as the bead diameter.
