I have "reserved" one, so will go up one night in the week and get it fitted. not really interested in the difference in acceleration, more the way it jerks when you engage/disngage the clutch !
Seems to be worse in my rs4 over my s4, but then I'm probably still getting used to it.
Is it me or is the clutch really heavy on the rs4 too ?
Must get a short shift kit fitted aswell !

Olly,

The combination of DTS and short shifter make a big difference to the drive.

Cant comment on the RS4 clutch, but I'm sure someone will be along soon...

Yes the clutch is heavy on the RS4. You will get use to it...

cool, thanks !
still keeping my eye out for an alacantra steering wheel, not keen on the punched leather one, it seems a little too "thin" for my liking.

Can't say I'd rave about the DTS. Fitted mine for a couple of months and while it tightened things relating to how much the gearstick moves (not that it moved that much before and didn't bother me. It has not got rid of the characteristic thud on changing gear the RS/S4 suffers from.

It has just confirmed what I thought all along, that its the center diff mount that has too much play in it and some shimming is required to limit its play.
