Milltek exhaust.....very nice!!

Just had my non resonated back box Milltek fitted on my car today and it's superb!! The sound is very deep much better than the stock one.
May be just a little loud when you cruise slowly but i can live with it
Just have a problem, the outside pipes touch the cut on the bumper on the left, i tried to move the all lot and screw the bolts from front to back but no way the backbox is a little bit too much on the left!!

Even by looking the rubbers i can see it can't go the over way :?

Any experience about that?
:greyrs4:

Who fitted it? Take it back, or go to Milltek.

Did fit it myself, it is not difficult to fit at all , you just need someone to give you a hand to take the old one out ( heavy, and in one bit..!).

Did put everything properly, but the position of the brackets on the back box are not exactually at the right place! Did talk to a good mecanic and he said to me it does happen sometimes. Will be sorted next week. :kissmyrings:

Is it the dual pipe or single..? I've seen people talking about knocking with one of Milltek's pipes on this forum somewhere.

It is the dual pipes, at the bumper it is like the original but the pipes are bigger in diameters, look really good. 8)

Well, did take my milltek out last week end and did replace the two link pipes with some resonated one.....Now it is better, i can manage a conversation with someone and listen the music when a cruise in 5th or 6th !!! I didn't expect the non resonated version was so LOOOOOOUD!!!!!
I had the feeling that at around 2000 revs it was more loud inside than outside!!!!

On the the pictures i did send earlier you can notice that the exhaust pipes did come out too much of the bumper and was a little bit too much on the left. When i did replace the link pipes i had to cut one of them to bring the all lot forward, just a little bit , less than one inch, now the all line is in the right place with the rubbers, the pipes are in the middle of the bumper (not 100%) and don't come out so much, now 2 cms when cold.
And i do recommend to shorten the bolts to avoid damages on speed bump and some driveways....
And i forgot to say it does make a lovely sound when i :greyrs4: go through a tunnel !!!!
