Can you help ? looking for RS4 Short shifter.

Post by Bigpockets » Sun Jan 29, 2006 5:50 pm

Can you help ? looking for RS4 Short shifter.

I have just picked up my RS4 MY2000 and i am trying to locate a short shifter.

I have looked on the net but apart from one company that appear to have gone out of business i can only find B&M ones for an A4 or S4.

I have fallen in love with this car already and i have only had it 2 days.

If you are interested. I have a new RS4 avant on order for september 1st and if this is what to expect then i cannot wait.

Hope you can help.

Simon :D

B&M short shifters are also nice, and the price is twice lower than tanoga :D

I paid just under £250 fitted for my Tanoga from Dialynx. It certainly improves the change significantly

Just make sure you are dealing with someone who knows their onions.... there are two types of shifter for the RS, early and late....... suggest you give Karl a ring,

new RS 4 avant in September....... that will be next year then......

i got the toyguy one, this was what the car was meant to have straight out of the factory.

it is cheaper then all the others by far and is a lot smoother then most by far.

do a search on google.

Just to say took 1 hour 15 mins to fit and has made a massive difference. If anyone needs any extra help with fitting, let me know.
