had alot of interest in the water injection kit fitted to my S4 at the Castle Combe day.

So here is all the info on the kit.

the kit was from,

http://www.turbobits.co.uk

the kit is the Aquamist 2D kit,

http://www.turbobits.co.uk/acatalog/erl ... 009%2ehtml

With Anti-surge accumulator,

I used 2x 7mm jets,

http://www.turbobits.co.uk/acatalog/erl ... 316%2ehtml

you will also need 1 metre 4mm hose,

http://www.turbobits.co.uk/acatalog/erl ... 261%2ehtml

1x hose T piece.

If anyone needs anymore info let me know.

Did you fit this yourself, or did you get MRC to do it?

THe kit on my car is the same as the one on Bretts.
Fitted mine myself, all pretty straightforward.
Probably the hardest part is tracing the Injector wire back to the ECU.

Shaun, Brett - is there a reason you went for water injection over something like C02 i/c misting?

Cheers, Nige.

To me the 2D system seemed to give the best options with a variable water input dependant on the injector pulse without going to the fully mappable version.
I was not convinced that IC misting etc gives the same benefit, bit of a fast and furios mod in my book (says he with a dirty great FMIC  )
I was looking for a system to reduce the IAT further than the front mount had done already so that I could run more aggresive timing and more boost.
In my case I have acheived what I wanted as I am seeing about the same power as the guys with turbo upgrades with better touque and powerband spread. Car was last dynoed at 520HP (but to be honest I do not trust the figures from the dyno it was done on) I will get it re-dynoed on Kims next week as I will get a good comparison with the previous figures.

Have you done the FATS test just to compare to hp? How do you find it with cold weather?

IIRC Marc bigbluebeast found out that WI is not good with racegas. But on normal 98oct I bet it will help with iats and with consistent power.
