Used to make a conversion kit for the ur-quattro, a few guys started to have problems with their kits and were left high and dry when it came to warranty issues, be careful............

Hi I would recommend not using Godspeed,
I ordered a kit for my Saab in March cheque sent and cashed in first week of sending it kit did not arrive till August!! After lots and lots of e-mails
being ignored. When the kit came the wheel nut holes were 12mm supposed to be 14mm the brake lines were too short and the disc fouled my ball-joints badley!! Asked for me money back was refused!!

After much annoyance I said just return 60% of my money and he could keep 40% as money is the only object to this man whom calls himself a brake specialist!! I even have an e-mail stating he made my kit from memory not vey re-assuring when the brakes are a life or death situation!!

Trading standards have been informed..

Maybe that's why there's no reply. Perhaps he's gone to Spain. Thanks for the info, perhaps we should have a rogues gallery!

I've seen some of the stuff he's done. TBH nothing any half decent engineering shop couldn't do.

I once had ordered a brake kit from Godspeed about 5 years ago paid them and was promised the kit soon after, a period of time had passed and I couldn't get hold of them, anyway it turned out they had gone bankrupt, and that was the last I saw of the money. I eventually got hold of Ian Godley and we had rucks on the phone, in the end he put the phone down. Now that he has reopened I will pay a visit.........
