Does the S4 share the bottom end with the RS4 ?

Is it worth up grading the bearings when running around 450 bhp ?

any help would be appreciated :?

The crank, rods, bearings and the block is different and so are the heads and the pistons... it's 2 different engines... I'd recommend a set of RS4 rod bearings at least, I'm not sure if the RS4 crank bearings actually fit...

PS: watch your phone, it's gonna start ringing soon ;)

Mihnea is right you can read about this in, "The power of the RS4" article available in the downloads section of this site.

Oops, my bad, after checking ETKA, it seems that the rod bearings are identically the same between the S4 and RS4 engines... everything else remains as I've said though...
