I brought the car on 19k, now done 39k and the light came on today for new pads in 1k miles.

Are these the original pads? I've never tracked or drove hard, and it was mint when I brought it!

New fitted pads from Halesowen Audi £124.12, good price?

I've fitted pads to cars before, but never one with pad wear indicators. What's the difference? Wires? Do I need special tool to reset light?

Any advice appreciated :D

40k is good life for a set of pads.

Re wear indicator there is a fiddly clip on the strut with wires running into the pads. It turns and unclips, then the pad replacement is as normal.

The light will reset itself when the new pads are installed and the car switched off then on.
