What are turbo actuator linkages?

The wastegates for both your turbos are controlled by an actuator and linkage when certain boost is reached (bit like a DV). I wouldn't have thought new turbos would be required, but there again if it's under warranty who cares [img]images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]
