rs4 flywheel drama

Post by smurfbus » Tue Apr 20, 2004 6:38 pm

I bougt it for my s4 but it does not seem to fit?

I have heard many s4 cars use rs4 fw but they are all MY2000-->

Can it be possible that Audi screwed up the boltpattern as two of the bolts dont fit but other six fit fine???

It really hearts to wait for the fw six days and then find out it does not fit :audibash:

Smurfbus, why did you opt for the RS4 flywheel route - why not the Tanoga lightweight version?

well, my commute is slow traffic with city 1/3 and I like the way the doublemass fw keeps it quiet. Also going with oem cant be bad unless I start abusing my car with cracy takeoffs.

OK, got it sorted with help from AW. It only fitted in one position from eight possible. Yep the last one I tried :D

It certainly need to be a certain way around or else it can cause misfire

Good luck

I just thought that the green marks should line up. I guess not but I'm not sure how far the marks are apart now as I turned the wheel so many times
