Guys,
I have the oppourtunity to trade my Avus wheels for these Breyton Avalanche wheels. Measuring 18x8.5 (F) and 18x9.5 (R) rolling on 225/40/18 (F) & 255/35/18 (R) using Dunlop SP9000 Tyres.
Here are some pictures (PSHOP) what do you think? I also have the Porsche brakes and have included a picture of them on another car with the same wheels. My car is the face lifted Imola S3, I think the grey picture is the best representation of them.. Please vote in the poll

Too fussy. Modular wheels were once the 'in thing', but nowadays I think simplicity rules. Especially on cars with noce clean lines, like the S3.
Just my opinion...

Also, you haven't done yourself any favours WRT an honest opinion, as you have tucked the wheels nicely into the arches. Is that a true representation, or just how you'd like them to be ? I'd have thought it would be quite difficult to get a 9.5" rim inside the arch on the rear, without some serious suspension and body mods.
Again, just my opinion

The last picture is real, and I think the 2nd one is too... 9.5 " will fit fine into the rear guards... I'm starting to rethink them, but thankyou for your honestly. I think they are a bit messy..
If MTM made a 18" version of their Bimoto , I'd be happy , 19' is simply far too big for our roads.
The height of the car would be the same as the last picture (with the brakes) although you cant really see to well the guard is about 1.5" above the wheel

dog, yep its a good point. They are too messy, have decided against them
Might just put some nice new rubber on my stockers, get the biggest spacers I can find and spend $ on engine/suspension

I've seen the Oettinger wheel on the Imola S3 and it looks horrible... another wheel thats very common..
So hard to find something thats nice on the S3 that comes in 18x8.5 for the front and min 18x9 on the rear.

Porsche 996TT/GT2 with adapters? But may be wider on the rear... (10? more?)

The GT2 wheels are too wide at the rear, but they do look very nice..

And I think they re quite light too (magnesium?), but probably quite expensive also.
Then regarding the size, you ve to buy 4 front rims, but they will be the same size then. However, depending on how wide they re, maybe you can fit both sizes (225 and 255) on them. Mille Miglia makes licensed replicas also in 18", but don t know about the width. (a friend had some fitted on his S4 avant).

Are you talking about Turbo Twists (993 Turbo wheels) or the new Turbo look? Ie GT2/996 Wheels?
Do you have pictures of the wheels you speak about?
