HiSpec Group Buy

Post by jeffw » Thu Jan 15, 2004 12:31 pm

Right then....

I've spoken to HiSpec and they are prepared to do a group buy for us. The prices below are all +Delivery at £10, +VAT and do not include Pads, Hoses or fitting. I have included the price for Ferodo 4003 Pads which will fit the 4-Pot Monsters & the 6-Pot Monsters.

The Kits included Calipers, Rotors & Bells, and all fittings & fixtures to put them on your car. They have kits for S4, S3 & RS4 at the moment.

335 x 32 Rotor 4-Pot Monster £882 17" Wheels
335 x 32 Rotor 6-Pot Monster £987

355 x 32 Rotor 4-Pot Monster £975.50 18" and bigger
355 x 32 Rotor 6-Pot Monster £1081.50

360 x 32 Rotor 6-Pot Mega Monster £ 1225.50 18"
380 x 32 Rotor 6-Pot Mega Monster £ 1415.58 19"

Ferodo DS 4003 Pads to fit Monster 4 & 6 Pot £78.60

Now the interesting part......

Discount level

If 3-5 Kits 10%
6-9 Kits 15%
10+ Kits 20%

So a 355 x 32 4-Pot Kit with Pads, VAT & Delivery is £ 1251.49......10% gives a cost of £1126.34, 15% £1063.77, 20% £1001.19.....bargain

I'll let you guys do the maths for the other kits.

Colour...You can have the calipers & bells in Silver, Gold or Black.

Thoughts ???

Edited to say you can have Grooved or X-Drilled rotors...Grooved are better for Track Days. i've also check and mine are 335 x 32 not 355 so the standard 17" Avus will take 335 x 32.

Spot on Jeff. Thanks
I guess the 355s will fit the standard 17" wheel (as you have them), but the 360s will not?

I think I've got 355mm under a 17"...the guy a HiSpec (Ben) isn't sure and thinks that mine are 335mm so he's looking up the orginal invoice to be sure...once I know I'll pass the info on.

I would think that you guys interested in a kit might want to put this info on Tyresmoke, Audi-Sport etc to boost the numbers. I would suggest that all definate orders come through this thread. Once you've committed to an order you must stick to the arrangement !

OK Jeff, I'll take over on the group buy now then. Thanks for all your efforts.
I'll put posts on TSN and ASN later. I guess they'll fit the Golfs/Seats etc. too.

Same price....The RS4 kits are basically the same. If you wanted the Mega Monster 6 Pot caliper then I would need to get a pad price for you.

Jeff, I might well be interested if we can get enough people for the 20% discount.

Top man for doing this.

Nigel

Biturbo is going to be the 'money' man on this group buy, I'm just along for encouragement/any questions....Hopefully you'll be able to get 10 kits together..

Right you are Jeff.

What's the chance of getting audi ring decals instead of hi-spec ones (the latest monster 4 calipers seem to be diferent to the above pic).

I also assume that we will get the latest groove pattern as shown on their web site ?

The kits will be the latest calipers/rotors that they are doing.....The rotors you're talking about maybe a upgrade, I'll need to check.

You could have Audi Rings or S4 or whatever on the calipers but this will increase the price significantly for such a small number of calipers....somebody has to setup the CNC machine to do the rings in the first place so it is probable price restrictive, your not going to pay an extra £150 for Audi Rings on 1 set of calipers....are you ?
