quattro GmbH — a fully owned subsidiary of Audi AG — has been advancing and complementing the Audi brand in Europe for nearly a quarter of a century. High-performance products and lifestyle accessories created exclusively for Audi by quattro GmbH raise the prestige and performance of the four rings to an exceptional level.

quattro GmbH was founded in 1983 as a subsidiary of Audi AG, and began marketing an exclusive accessory collection in 1985. Since 1996, quattro GmbH has been registered as a manufacturer of high-performance vehicles. With its own development and production areas in the Audi plants in Neckarsulm and Ingolstadt, Germany, the team — consisting of approximately 160 employees — points the way to the future in the area of professional vehicle personalization. Currently, approximately 35,000 Audi vehicles per year are individually equipped after production.

The most recognized model tuned by quattro GmbH is the coveted RS 4, sold exclusively in Europe. For the first time, a quattro RS model appears on North American shores this July with the 450-horsepower RS 6. The Audi A8 L premiere at the 2003 Los Angeles Auto Show signifies quattro GmbH’s first customization of the brand’s luxury flagship, with innovations such as adaptive air suspension and Multi Media Interface (MMI) onboard electronics control.
