Heel & toeing

Post by NigelJ » Mon Feb 03, 2003 1:51 pm

I,m finding the spacing between the brake and thottle pedals on my RS4 too wide causing difficulties when heel & toeing ( i don't left foot brake). Anyone have any thoughts on this?

Or use some new pedals with the extra bit on the accelerator pedal...

Someone told me that with the fly by wire thottle there is no point because the ECU over rides it anyway??

Ie) you can't throttle and brake at the same time?

It's definatley possible to "blip" the throttle on downshifting on the RS4. Obviouosly the RS6 is differnt (tiptronic, etc). I normally double declutch going down the box, mainly because it's smoother and kinder on the box & transmission generally. That's why the spacing thing is problematical. I'll try my local clown shoe shop and see if that works!
