Been working at Nemisis today and they have recomended that we use 76 racing fuel (106 octane) at track days either neat or mixing it 1 to 1 with super to produce 102 octane fuel.
they charge £65 for 25 litres any one else want some?

Be careful Ken, you will need to upgrade your spark plugs and be able to advance you're ignition to run this stuff neat - 1 to 1 should be Ok but how do we transport 25 litres each over there

It comes in 25litre cans so all we need is a funnel for pouring it in
The cans can easily fit in the boot - thats the whole idea of owning an estate

What kind of BHP increase do you get with racing fuel?

On 106 octane with different plugs and timing advance you would get around 8% power increase from stock

Equating that to mine, that would equate to around 45bhp extra

I'm a complete newbie on this so forgive my question :

What's the difference with those bottles of Millers several of you poured into your tank before refuel at the small gas station in Hockenheim last year ?

Millers plus 98 = more octane rating. I won't say it takes you to 100 coz I don't believe it does - but it certainly helps increase octane rating slightly plus it confuses the knock sensors
