B8 Wingback Retrofit

Post by SteveShepherd » Mon May 04, 2020 1:33 pm

I've retrofitted wingbacks into my B8, sorted the issue with seat airbags but still have an airbag light due to seat position sensors on both sides. The new seats don't have them.

Does anyone have the coding to tell the airbag module that there are no seat position sensors? Must be possible as the seats were an option from the factory but really struggling to find a solution. TIA

There are resistor kits available that you fit into the connector under the seat. I don't know the exact part number for the B8 but I expect it won't be any different to any other Audi wingback retrofit.
