First impressions it looks a good stance
Just wonder how the paint work will hold up
I would have thought 10mm like th B8 would have been enough but i have only mesured the gap visualy on demo cars
Interested to see how it works long term

I think the RS4/5 do need spacers, as the wheels are hidden inside the arches, not quite sure why RS models do not have a wider track. Assuming you use good quality products, are there any disadvantages of spacers?

Some people say bearing damage, but I’m yet to see this actually be any different compared to stock on any car. It’s only the same as wider and bigger wheels really. Rubbing is the only issue, and I’m monitoring that carefully. If it rubs I’ll move to 15mm and then 10mm if it continues.

I popped into a local tuning Shop (Rtec) and they measured around 15mm max on front and rear to be within safe limits, that is on an RS5. I assume the arches are bigger on the RS4? as they certainly look it visually. They said they have done hundreds of cars without issues, the key was using quality products that fit perfectly on the hub.. I am still thinking about it, as never done it before...

Do you think 5mm each side is too little as I have that lined up later this week?

yes i would have thought 10mm might have been ok but looking at the vid with the 20mm fitted 15mm might be a better starting option but at this early stage early adopters with be doing the trial and error

If your near anyone like Revolution or prestige wheels etc im sure they would help with getting the correct fitment if you took your car along they could trail different sizes for you to get your perfect stance

if there is no definitive answer to the optimum spacer when i get mine i think il will be going down to Gelnn at revolution to sort out the spacing rather than trial and error with different sizes

Looks far better now, but do think it will flick up stones and chip the paint down the side with fast road use.

I have 10mm fitted on the B8 and noticed a couple of chips now that were not there before. Although the B9 looks to have more space, so 10mm-15mm is where I'd start if it were me.

They're the same 66.5mm, I assume the wrong ones sent in the video were actually B7 sized at 57.1mm.

Fyi the 5mm didn't work as they weren't hubcentric and were pushing the wheel out too far eg it wobbled! Going to try the narrowest hubcentric available which afaik is 13mm. Still worried about "gravel rash" up the side of the car though.

13mm is quite an unusual number for spacers, is that per side or axle?

Ok I see, edging your bets between 10 & 15mm.
