Removing front Emblem on RS4 B9

I’m a newbie and need some help. I have a beautiful RS4 B9 Avant, but I want to remove the front silver rings and swap for a black gloss one. Only trouble is that I’m struggling to unclip the front one. Any advice? Or is this a bumper and grill off job? (I’m hoping and praying not)
