Have people seen any increase in power?
appreciate the car may well drive smoother as it's not all clogged up.

Just look on the MRC Facebook page. It is full of before and afters over the yearsStevie1982 wrote:Have people seen any increase in power?

Have a search of the forum and you'll come across lots of info on this topic.Stevie1982 wrote:Have people seen any increase in power?

In short, a hydrogen "clean" does F all. You may get slightly better power/delivery because the process involves revving the <beep> out of the engine, and extra hot combustion. But it's marginal. An "Italian tune" would do the same.
A proper, head off, scrape the carbon out by hand, clean will restore lost ponies. I got back 44hp.
Remember though, it's temporary. Very temporary.

Depending on your driving it could be 10-30k. No worse than brakes every 30k in my opinion

Ok so longer than I had in my mind, can handle those kind of miles

Ha ha ha 10-30k???? You are dreaming. At around 5k there is a noticeable layer of carbon already. At 10k you almost where you started. After that the build up slows down progressivelyStevie1982 wrote:Ok so longer than I had in my mind, can handle those kind of miles

I have just had a carbon decoke with walnut blast the other week. The car ran fine before, but you notice a good improvement in power after, 70bhp and 60nm torque.
I think the only way that works is to take the inlet off.
