Toyo proxes T1-S

Post by Dippy » Wed Apr 23, 2003 10:52 am

Having decided I want a set of these, I just 'phoned Micheldever who told me that these tyres have been on order for 2 months!

I can wait a bit longer, but is there some sort of supply problem from Toyo such that I should really think of getting a different tyre?

What a pain!

Can't remember if you have the standard 17" wheels or not.

I need tyres very soon. When I called Micheldelver a few weeks ago they did have the Toyo 17s in stock, but were almost surprised! Don't think Toyo are one of their main brands.

Think in the past Bushy has recommended Elite in Reading.

There is also a Toyo offer on Tyresmoke...

Dan,

I didn't ask the price, but I know that Micheldever would be one of the cheapest around. I've also been there before and am happy with them.

David,

I have the standard 17" Avus wheels. They do have 4 225/45 ZR17 Toyos in stock now, it's just that I need 5. I'm not willing to take the risk of just fitting 4, then getting a puncture and not being able to put the same tyre on. I can wait a bit longer if necessary, but the problem still remains if there is a supply problem with the Toyos.

I'll check with Elite and also look at Tyresmoke.

No, actually... You're about 2 hours drive from him !!

He prefers to fit the tyres, but if you are in need, I think he will help you out.

Paid £451 for 4 fitted (225/45/ZR/17) by Montys nr Slough, think jct 4 or 5 off M4.

Seem to have quite a few in stock, but was a few weeks back.
No sig, no RS4 anymore

Cheers Steve, that would be great.

As long as he can get the tyres reasonable soon that's what is most important to me.

Cheers Steve. I just rang them and ordered the tyres. Micheldever have not come back to me anyway. Considering that Elite are just down the road from me it make sense to go there too.

Cheers again,
Dave
