That all going well, I am definatly taking it Germany ... not 100% on the ring yet, although I think I will, and just try and take it easy ...musty1 wrote:no probs do you know where I can get some banjo fittings from??

Right, just been for a drive, everything seems perfect!! The beast is back!
Ok, the 6th gear, the parts work, so thats good. Now, the drop from 5th to 6th is quite large, you can't use it under, hmm, 45ish maybe ... well test.
When gunning it, the drop is quite large, but I think if redlining 5th then to 6th, it will be just fine, because its not going to drop below 3800rpm where my torque is ...

What do you mean??dummi wrote:go any examples , like when are you shifting
Well, the garage picked up on a few things wrong with my work... mostly little things, the main ones where ...
- FMIC rubbing on AC rad
- IC pipe rubbing on additional oil cooler pipe
- Subframe was a little off centre, only a couple of mill, but enough to possible cause problems ... there are three rings on both sides at the front of subframe which you need to stick a bar through and line up correctly.
Overall I am quite pleased, I know the subframe is a big one, but then thats why I had a pro look at it!
Every day is a school day at the moment!
