G-Force has a excellent reputation, definetely worth a visit, another is john nobles although i think there dyno is only good to 400bhp although i'd have to check.Owen developments is who i use but they don't tend to do dyno days because they don't open on weekends and due to there workload ,although i will ask.I will try and organise something, which one of these would suit you guys??g-force-south,owens-oxford,nobles-chesterfield.

interesting stuff paul, owens are thinking about becoming revo dealers, although i will only have it done if they map it on the rr.Do they use the standard boost control valve to increase boost?Regards Ryan

G force is THE one, for accuracy, and above all else completely unbiased as they are not intested in selling us audi guys remaps. They tune Porsches and ferrari's, but last time they struggled with the S3 and gave up because of the haldex and correctly tying car down.

we now know how amd tie the car down and they might be more suscessful.

some time last summer they were going to "get a S3 in" aka mine to try it and see before the next audi day. But i sold my S3 and then got a new one which needed to be run in and we never got chance.

you local to Oxon then Ryan.?

Im 20 mile north of Oxford in cotswolds.

im not running revo anymore.

I fancied trying something different on this S3, and always wanted to try Amd's + have switchable + serial upload ie no soldering.

I am running AmD code.

Ryan you can have it set up and mapped on a RR.

mine will be. I running their code at the minute.

Personally I am currently under the impression that AMD do not do anymore than the Revo SPS3 device can offer you - ie, adjust your timing/boost/fuel levels depending on what their emulator tells them is wrong when you go on the RR. AMD start with a generic remap right, so if it doesnt need tweaking what do they do then? It is good that they offer the RR and I am not questioning their remaps, just the level of custom map you get - I mean its not an Autronic or Motec custom map is it.

I could be wrong of course but thats just my opinion.

I'd be interested in a rr, as long as its a weekend. I run APR software and would like to know what bhp it is !

amd do off the shelf and custom maps. You pays yer money and makes yer choice. non of the revo code is custom (apart from the the user adjustments on the dongle)

hi guys,
i don't actually live near oxford-leicester actually but i'm good friends with dino who works at owens and have had work done there in the past which has been outstanding. For example i have made 283bhp on there rollers, taken it too other dyno and made in excess of 300bhp.Mark is a top tuner and knows his stuff ,they do alot of work on winning race series cars such as marcos. They also produce turbos for the wrc and definetely rebuild the uk rally champions turbo for him. When they mapped my unichip i was allowed to observe and i had it custom mapped with boost module for the price of a revo/amd.I would be interested to know the strapping procedure for the s3 also, but i'm sure if they become revo dealers they will let them know the secret.Do you think we will have a audi dyno day at g-force?(we need to know the truth!!)regards Ryan
