Anyone know if the DS2500's are available for the standard B5 RS4 calliper and where from?

Thanks
Mark

I was quoted £232 for the DS2500, on the RS6 set up.

Sounds OK to me. How much are standard pads ? These will outlast standard ones by a long way, probably cheaper overall.

Standard RS5 pads are around £180 incl. Do the Ferodo pads offer OEM performance even when cold?

Good question, they need to give good bite from cold and not be too noisy for everyday use. The DS2500's do both I think, DS3000 are track only.

Its a pain swapping pads and trying to bed used pads back onto used discs so you really need to be able to keep your choice of pad on the car all the time IMO :)

For pricing, I think performance braking in Monmouth in the cheapest, very good technical advice to boot. For the DS2500's I would try Corey at Quattronics as he may be keenest on price.

Has anyone tried EBC Redstuff Brake Pads (Ceramic) with the RS6 calipers? They are significantly cheaper.

Not me :) but I've had some very bad experiences with EBC pads in the past. I read on another forum that the reds are much improved recently though.

Corey did me good pricing for Porsche & Pagid pads, I'd give him the thumbs up too.

I think PhilT has run some Red's on his RS6 and now some Yellow's and is finding them quite good (the yellow that is). Heavy car though.
